"Your Personal Guide Through Real Estate" is a docu-style promotional film about Matt O'Brien, a real estate agent based in San Diego, California. In the film, Matt shares the story of when he bought & sold his first home, being a formative experience that transpires him to be the agent he is today. Claiming to be "Your Personal Guide Through Real Estate," Matt assures the value of his intentional relationship-building approach as he guides people through one of the most complicated life experiences they may face.

Project objective

Matt O’Brien wanted to connect with clients and grow his business.  I listened to his story and helped him pull out a key theme: “your personal guide through real estate.”  We then mapped out a specific narrative and visual direction for a film with those in mind going through the customer journey. The strategy was then to have a film with the intention to be housed and promoted on the website, to play as a key motivator for moving the customer from Consideration to Conversion.

Social Strategy

Today's social platforms allow brands, businesses, and all communities to authentically express & display who they are and what they have to say instantly. Today's culture seeks this direct interaction. People engage with what they resonate with. The longer form "explain it all" video was once the centerpiece of a website's marketing strategy but has now become the icing on the cake that closes the deal for what caught their attention in the first place. These small video interactions are important. Audiences want to know that we "get them", sooner, quicker, and "authentically." It's about engaging the audience where they're at on their journey.
